The end of the world as we know it....And I feel fine!

Well what a can of worms we opened last night, at around 6:30pm I took a call from Dean a listener of the show, he said he was driving up the Bruce and had seen a ball of fire shoot across the sky. As I put this call to air the phones went nuts, people as far north as Marcoola and as south as the Gold Coast had witnessed the exact same thing.

I called Bilko our morning announcer & avid Conspiracy theorist to get his take on it because not 4 days prior he informed me that there is an expected meteor shower over the southern skies in the next few weeks, which is meant to be a asteroid breaking up over earths atmosphere. Bilko is a massive fan of George Noory's Coast to Coast AM show in The US, which is a show for people who love this stuff and is compulsive listening. Their website is amazing it covers things like space travel, UFO's, government conspiracy theories & the paranormal. I called Brisbane air traffic control and they confirmed it was either a Meteor or space junk burning up, but it was traveling so fast they missed it on their radar. When I arrived home I noticed it had made the 10:30 news with Sandra Sully...Everyone had seen the same thing, I just wish their was footage of it.
