Ok, so here is the deal, I am moving to Darwin to do Breakfast radio, which is fantastic beyond words, Darwin is a party town that shines as one of the most multicultural cities in Australia, they say Melbourne is the most multicultural, but it is just a fancy way of saying it's full of Italians & Greeks. So if you in Darwin, tune into the show on HOT100. My co-host will be a chick called Ronnie, i hope she is nice.....she better be...i just need to get her pissed to see what type of person she is....I have done a ton of personality training so i can pick em. i am sure she will be fine....but i am willing to put money on the fact she is a piss head....to be honest with you i can hear the Jim Beam in her voice..

Channel 10 - Bless their hearts have agreed to pay for Yasmin's wedding after they canned the show Friday night after lack lustre ratings numbers. They said they would pay for the wedding no matter when it takes place be it 10 days away or 10 years. Full story here

the funniest thing.

A work mate of mine suggested that i get out "garden state" on DVD, so yesterday i did, and what a cool flick it is, it was written and directed by Zack Braff from Scrubs, anyways the reason for this blog, this movie......Has my funeral song in it......ok that's weird....i never ever expected to hear my funeral song in a movie, I am a massive fan of Nick Drake, and have been for a number of years "one of these things first" is my all time favorite song, hence why it's my funeral song. but why is a movie, i have heard other songs of his in movies before and it i thought it was great, but Zac Braff must have great taste in music, the whole soundtrack seems to be magical, i am gonna track it down, but for those of you who know, if i die, and you come to my funeral you will hear my fave Nick Drake song.

The Sunday Drag

So because I work a 6 shift every Sunday the time can tend to drag a bit, look I love being on the radio but lets be Honest, who wants to work a Sunday? I bet you all wish we could have it off. But don't stress if you have a job where you have TV, all is not lost. There is 1 show which you might like look at... Don't judge me, I try to be cool but I just love this show!, This old House here in Oz it's on the lifestyle channel in the states it's on PBS, but you just have to watch it, they make house renovation interesting, and not snorable either. Sundays 1pm, you gotta watch tell me what you think. These guys find a dodgy old shack and make it amazing, but it's not 4 day job like on reno rescue, they take months and do it properly. seriously give it a go.

Why websites are a pain in the neck!

So recently I started planning drexshow.com I thought I would do it on the cheap and design it myself, what a mistake that was I royally screwed it up, I found a free server....Also stupid, I have no idea what to do, I cant even get all the pictures to work, so ...And I hate to say this, I am paying someone to do it for me. And it's expensive $586 or $400 American, I am getting this company in the states to do it, they just do radio websites, so it will be up soon with bloggs, audio, pics, and other fun stuff......That's if I can afford it..
